Hello All..    Being an Army family, there are times when we have to say goodbye to some amazing people and today was one of those days. We said goodbye to one family and welcomed another.  The sentiment on my card expresses that even though it's hard, I am so very grateful for all the friendships made over the years.

On my card I used some really neat stamps from Concord & 9th called Lace Leaf. I stamped the background of each stamp with Distress Oxide Inks in these colors: L to R: Fired Brick, Fossilized Amber and Broken China. I then stamped the Lace Leaf in Versafine Black ink. I then die-cut them out using a die from the coordinating die set.

The background is a piece of Tim Holtz Woodgrain Card stock. The black spots are made by smooshing some paint from a Tim Holtz Black Tie Paint Dabber, spritzing water to mix it up, then taking a paintbrush to drip in the paint mixture and tapping it to splat dots all over it..  some spots were a tad big.. but once the leaves were put on the card, you didn't even see them.

I die-cut the word "grateful" four times and glued them on top of each other using Multi Medium Matte ~ one of my favorite adhesives!

Once everything was put together, I added some sequins and it was done.

Here are most of the supplies I used on my card ~ links below in Supply list:

card stock:  Neenah Solar White, Kraft, Bazzill Licorice Twist, Tim Holtz Woodgrain Card Stock

Hello All ...  last weekend my family took a ride out to the Pacific Ocean.  It was so pretty, but windy and a tad on the chilly side.  I wish it had been warm enough to get into the water like we had at other oceans we have visited.

Since we couldn't get in the water, I thought I'd make a card using an image of a girl that did. The stamp set is from My Favorite Things Pure Innocence line called Beach Day. I used the coordinating Beach Day Die-namics to cut her, the sandcastle and the flag out.  I stamped all images onto some Neenah Solar White card stock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored using Assorted Copic Markers.

I used a lot of dies on my card ~ so it went together really quickly.

I used this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #342:  MFTWSC342

Here are most all of the supplies I used  ~ links below in supply list:

SUPPLIES:

card stock:  Neenah Solar White, Bazzill Licorice Twist, Blues for sky and water

Hello All ~ I hope you are having a wonderful day.  I was in a flower mood tonight and thought I'd add these beauties to my card. They are from the Concord & 9th Hope Stamp Set. I used assorted Lawn Fawn Inks on the flowers.  The "Hope" label die was used to make the tag with the sentiment ~ love this!  I will drop this in the mail to someone special.

The Distress Oxide ink background is so easy to do. You just smoosh an ink pad onto a craft mat or piece of plastic, spray with water and then push the paper down onto the ink, moving it around and tapping it in places to pick up spots of ink.  I would use my heat gun to dry it and then do it all over again. I inked the paper until all the ink was gone off the craft mat.

These are most all of the supplies I used on my card ~ links below in supply list.

Supplies:

card stock:  Neenah Solar White, Bazzill Licorice Twist
stamps:  Concord & 9th Hope Stamp Set
ink:  Versafine Black, Ranger Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Lawn Fawn Inks:  Jalapeno, Sunflower, Butter, Sugarplum, Fresh Lavender, Peachy Keen, Guava
accessories: Scor-Buddy, Concord & 9th Hope Label Dies, Tim Holtz Scissors, Multi Medium Matte, Sequins, BigShot, Foam Tape, Distress Sprayer, Craft Mat

Hello All..  I'm running a bit behind today..  my granddaughter has been not feeling well since last Friday night.  She has the works going on and I am hoping that she gets to feeling better soon, because we hate to see her not feeling good.

I made a set of five "Thanks" cards using a new Concord & 9th stamp set called Pop Art Pineapple Set.  I got the set because my youngest daughter is in "LOVE" with Pineapples right now ~ funny thing is that she won't eat them, but loves anything with the images on them. haha!

I made them "assembly line" ~ so they went together pretty quickly.  I don't have dies for the images ~ so I cut them all out. They weren't too hard to cut out.

For the green I used Lawn Fawn Jalapeno and Noble Fir inks. I inked the stamp with the lighter green and then on the lower portion of the stamp, I put some of the darker ink.

I used Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo ink for the flowers

For the pineapples I used Lawn Fawn Sunflower and Doe inks

After stamping all the images, I cut them out. Aren't they soooo cute!

I picked out five sheets of paper from the Echo Park Summer Fun paper pad and got to making my cards:
