Today is Day 6 of the #thedailymarker30day I am so excited to challenge myself to get back to coloring each day this next 30 days ~ I have lots of new goodies to color, so I'm ready for the challenge.

Happy Birthday to me!   What a fun day it has been today ~ mostly from watching the weather change nearly hourly. It went from snowing to rain, sunshine with blue skies.. then rain again.. some sleet and then an all out blizzard, slush, rain... then sunshine and blue skies. Tonight it was sleeting, then snowing and now it's just plain cold!   brrrr!   If there's a chance for snow, I always wish for it to come true.. today I got my wish!
The card I made tonight uses a stamp from the Concord & 9th Hello Lovely stamp set.  I inked it up with Versamark ink, stamped in onto some Canson XL watercolor paper and heat embossed it using white embossing powder.

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to put some color in the areas and used a water brush to spread out the color. I really, really, really.. wish I had used a lighter purple when I started with the flower in the middle.. but I'll know to do that next time.  The stamp set is gorgeous and has some really nice sentiments in it as well.

These are most of the supplies I used ~ links below in the supply list.  I just chose some random Zig Pens when coloring in the image.

Supplies:

card stock:  Canson XL Watercolor Paper. Bazzill Licorice Twist
stamps:  Concord & 9th Hello Lovely
ink: Versamark, Versafine Black, Asst. Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
accessories: Scor-Buddy, Pick Me Up Tool, Water Brush, Multi Medium Matte, Neat & Tangled Peppermint Sequins, Heat Gun, White Embossing Powder and Tonic Craft Pick Tool

thanks for looking ~

Stunning! Even though I have this set, I've yet to ink it up because I can't water-colour! I'll figure out a way to showcase it soon! You've certainly inspired me to do so!

Happy belated birthday Pam!!! Sounds like a wild and crazy day with the weather, but glad you got your wish for some snow. Your card is stunning and I love how you colored those beautiful flowers. Hugs, Brenda
