Happy Thursday Everyone!!!   Today is my day to post a Guest Design Team project for TupeloDesignsLLC.   Lots of goodies in this post................      Today I decided to use some new to me stamps from Lavinia Stamps. I used Fairy Mystical ~ Fairytale  as well as Words and Verses ~ Best Wishes.  These are my first Lavinia stamps and I must stay they stamp so very nice.  I look forward to getting some more.

I paired these awesome stamps with some patter paper from the Lawn Fawn Let's Bokeh In The Snow.  I used my Misti to stamp the Fairy stamp three times using Versafine Black Ink onto some Neenah Solar White card stock. I stamped the sentiment using the same ink and card stock.

I used this week's MOJO Monday Sketch #441 ~ I used a solid piece for the background instead of using two pieces. I also used an Oval instead of a circle. You can use other shapes as well.   The measurements are in the sketch picture below this one ~ Have fun!!

MOJO440 "HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU PARTY ANIMAL" using Avery Elle *W/Measurements

I had all these pattern papers and layers already cut so I thought I'd put them on a card.  I didn't have my glasses on this morning and see that my layers aren't exactly level.. oops!   I used the Avery Elle Party Animal Stamp and Die set on this card.  I die cut the balloon animals and then drew the lines that were on the stamp onto the die-cut shapes with a  Signo Uniball white pen.  These are such fun stamps and dies.

I loosely used the MOJO Monday Sketch #440 ~ I left the middle strip off.   I am sharing the sketch where I wrote the measurements on it in case you might want to make a card using the sketch.

Here is the MOJO440 Sketch ~ below it will be the sketch with measurements written on it:

MOJO440 "WISHING YOU THE HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS" Altenew Peony Bouquet *WITH MEASUREMENTS

Today I have a Guest Design Team post for TupeloDesignsLLC.

I received my first Altenew stamp set a couple weeks ago from TupeloDesignsLLC. I haven't had a chance to play with it because my son's Golf season has started. The weather had been beautiful so I was going out during practice to take pictures as well as attending his first match ~ which is won!! So excited for this season of Golf for him.    ~*making my way back to my card*~  this gorgeous flower is from the Altenew stamp set Peony Bouquet.  It is a layering stamp or you could stamp the outline and color it in with all kinds of mediums.  I stamped the outline of the Peony in Versafine Black ink onto some Neenah White card stock.  I then set out to stamp the layers of the flower. NOTE: Altenew has ink pad sets to use for their layering sets. I need to buy some, but in the meantime  I used the ink pads that came in a Hero Arts monthly kit.

After coloring the image I took my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter pen and colored the strokes on the flower and the leaves. It's hard to photograph, but it's gorgeous in real life.

I used this week's MOJO Monday Sketch #440 for my card:  *MEASUREMENTS IN IMAGE BLOW THIS ONE.

CYCI#112 ~ Guest Designer ... "YOU'RE SUPER AWESOME" card using MFT You're Super stamps & dies

Hello~!  Thanks for stopping by.   I was invited to be a Guest Designer for the Can You Case It Sketch Challenge #112. I am also Guest Designing for TupeloDesignsLLC for two months and am excited to share this post.

I pulled out a super fun set by My Favorite Things called "You're Super" ~ and what a super set it is!

This post has a LOT of pictures ~ I wanted to show how I colored up the girl image with my Copic Markers.  I am no Copic expert, but do enjoy coloring with them.

I stamped the image using Memento Black Ink onto some #110 Neenah card stock.

........ here we go!

Color face and hands with E00. Feather in from sides of face using E11.  Blend colors using E00.  Color some circles on cheeks with R20. Smooth colors with E00.

Color some hair using YR23. Add some E99 over the YR23 *I noticed that I took the picture before coloring the hair on both sides. Then take the YR23 to color in the white areas and blend the colors.
*I used four colors of red on the cape, you could use three.  Color some R05, then R24, then R29 and lastly R59. then work backwards coloring the colors out a little more for each and then blending the colors.

Color some B21 in some areas of the dress.  Add a little B37. I then blended it with B34

Leggings:  Coloring on in corners and inside leggings with B21. Add some B34 over it. Add some B37 over colors. then work backwards bringing the  area colored out more with each color.

Boots:  Color on some R05. **2nd and 3rd pics should be swapped around. Add some R29, then R59. Then work backwards to blend colors and fill area.
Boot tops:  Color some Y23 on sides of boot topper. Add Y28 over it, then use Y23 to blend colors across top.
After coloring up the image I die-cut her out. The die is solid so I first cut it of a piece of scrap paper, then laid the negative image (I cut a slit up to the opening to make it easier to remove once the die is laid in it) over my stamped image, fit the die in the space, carefully remove the scrap paper and used scotch tape to keep die in place while I die-cut it out.   *note I forgot to take the picture of the negative over the stamped image, but took the picture afterwards.

MFTWSC272 "GET WELL SOON MY SWEET FRIEND" Poppy card using MFT stamps/dies *W/MEASUREMENTS

Today I have a Guest Design Team post for TupeloDesignsLLC.

The granddaughter of a good friend of mine has been in the hospital for a few weeks now and I wanted to get a card in the mail to her. I thought I had one to send, but I went through all my cards and didn't one so I made this one.

I used a really pretty My Favorite Things stamp set called Delicate Pretty Poppies stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored up one of the flowers and stem with some Copic Markers.

When I went to put the card together I was going to use the pattern that was on the flip side of the yellow paper, after seeing it with the piece that I had stamped the MFT Wood Plank BG stamp on, I decided to use it instead.  The layer with the Wood Plank pattern has Fun Foam on the back to give the card some dimension.

I received this adorable Lawn Fawn stamp and die set yesterday and wanted so badly to get in inked up.  I found a sketch from Mojo Monday (MOJO439) and got to putting together the pieces for the card.

I cut and embossed all the pieces I needed for the sketch ~ as shown below ~ and then stamped the images with Versafine Black ink and colored in all the images I thought I'd use on the card.  I grabbed some Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and just colored.  These images are so much fun to color. VLVMAR2016 "WE HAVE LOADS OF FUN TOGETHER" card using Lawn Fawn stamps & dies **W/MEASUREMENTS

Today I have a Guest Design Team post for TupeloDesignsLLC.

Oh my goodness ~ as soon as I laid eyes on the Lawn Fawn stamp set "Loads of Fun" and matching die set.  I just knew I had to have it.  I knew exactly what color I could color the washer and that I wanted to do a "shaker" card with the washer ~ such fun!!    Last night was the first time I got to ink it up and did I ever have a lot of fun coloring and putting this card together. I was on the phone with my mom for about two hours and while on the phone I was coloring and then was ready to put it aside and assemble it this morning, but she wanted to see if so I went ahead and put it together.

I inked the stamps with Memento Black Ink onto some Neenah Solar White card stock.  The pattern papers used are from the "MUST HAVE!!!" Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid paper pad.

I wish our Whirpool Cabrio Washer and Dryer came in this fun color:

I used a Viva la Verve sketch. Below is the sketch, below it is the sketch with the measurements I used on my card.

"OSAT Blog Hop - Spring Has Sprung" and some News!!

Welcome to the first stop on the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop. The theme this month is "Spring Has Sprung." I am super excited to share some fun news.  I have joined the TupeloDesignsLLC Design Team as a Guest Designer for the next two months.

I had so much fun making a card, a tag and a Carrot Basket as this month's projects.  I used an absolutely "must have" WPlus9 stamp and die set called Sending Sunshine.  I have had my eye on it for a long time.  I am so happy to now have it to stamp and create with.

First up is my card.  I used the largest die in the set for the Blue Raspberry layer and to cut out the Plaid layer as well.  I layered them both onto some black card stock to make them pop.

Next I die cut everything and oh my..  I didn't realize that the center of the Sun and the outlines of the clouds cut separate layers ~ oh my an extra bonus!!

After die cutting the Rainbow, I cut it off at the very bottom to have the stripes be apart. I then matched the colors up with some of the colors in the Plaid paper and colored in each strip with my Copic markers. I also went "carefully" around the edges of each layer with the colors being careful not to damage the nibs of my markers. I used the colors of:  BG45, Y13, Y38 and R22.

I die-cut the word "Sunshine" three times, adhered them together and then adhered them to a Sunshine that was die-cut in black.  I also die-cut the Sun four times and layered them onto each other for more dimension.

After I made my card I made a tag.  I die-cut another of the largest die with is this fun stitched scallop piece and then scored it in half.  I cut a white (2 1/8" x 3 1/4") and black layer (2 1/4" x 3 3/8") and adhered it to the tag.  I added a sun.  The sentiments are stamped in Black and Orange inks.  I punched a hole and put some fun orang polka dotted ribbon through it and tied with some embroidery floss.

Now for my project..   I made a basket from some MFT Tangy Orange card stock (directions below) and then make a cut-file for the Carrot tops that go around the tops of the basket using my Silhouette. I cut them from some Bazzill Spearmint Stick card stock. I used Scor-Tape to adhered the Carrot tops to the basket.  Today I went to the local Dollar Tree and they had put out all their Easter goodies ~ oh my goodness!!!  there was so much fun stuff I grabbed a whole bunch.  Look at those eggs that are chicks and bunnies ~ in the bag of goodies there are ones that look like carrots and a pink bunny.  The tag was perfect to attach to the bag.  This is one of several that I will make and give out to the awesome people that go to the adult day care center that my daughter attends.  I know they are going to love them.  I will write a note inside the tags to personalize it for each of them.

The little basket ~ box is super easy.  I started with a piece of card stock cut at 8 1/2" x 8 1/2". I scored each side at the 2 1/4" mark.  I snipped out a little bit on the one side of each corner, adhered adhesive as shown and folded it up to make the basket ~ box. After putting it together I adhered the carrot tops around the top, put the bunny bag that had some fake grass in it and was filled with eggs will with candy.   Super easy and so much fun!

This is the awesome die and stamp set that I used for my projects.  It and several other things I used today can be found (link below in supply list) on the TupeloDesignsLLC site ~ FREE U.S. SHIPPING on ALL orders!!!  **NOTE: I noticed when I went to link product that the stamps and dies are currently out of stock.  I will inquire when they will be back in stock and post an update. I apologize for that.

Thanks for stopping by ~ keep on hopping  ~ next up is Alisa ~ can't wait to see what she has created.
