When I was younger I would read every night when I went to bed. I might not read as much as I used to, but many of my friends are avid readers.  When I seen this adorable My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Bookworm stamp and die set, I knew I had to get it to make cards for them.   The added bonus was the awesome Star Grid Cover-Up.. oh my. I have an another idea in my head to do with this die and I can't hardly wait!

I covered the back of a piece of white Neenah card stock with adhesive and die cut it. The pieces stayed put so I pulled the papers off the back and adhered it to a piece of Bazzill Licorice Twist card stock.

I stamped the little girl image onto Neenah white card stock using Memento Black ink and got to coloring using some Copic Markers.  I liked the coloring except the books ~ had a boo boo.. so I started coloring another image. After coloring her face and hair, I realized I could've paper pieced her body on another set of books ~ it was late and I wasn't feeling the best, so I decided to cut the piece shown in the image above and piece it onto the other image. After cutting the girl out, I took a Memento black marker and went around the outside edges to color over the white that shows on the edges.     I die-cut and then adhered her onto it.

I used this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge for the layout of my card. I made the center layer the whole cover up and turned the sketch. MFTWSC312

**GIVEAWAY** Congrats to Kimberley~ you are the lucky winner.   I'll have another giveaway with next week's post.

I hope everyone is having a super day!   I had a blast last night making all these cards and tag all using the My Favorite Things Sweet Safari Stamp and Die-namics sets.    My daughter colored in most of the images one day last week. I told her I was excited to put the images on cards. I was going to use just one, but decided to try and use all the images that were stamped and colored.  I did have one image left.

Here are the four cards and tag that I made.  These images from the MFT Sweet Safari stamp set are sooo cute!

The first card I made uses the MFTWSC311 Sketch.  I cut a vine from a MFT Blueprint set. I cut all the leaves off of it and used the stamped leaves from the set to put on it.  I embossed the background with a leafy/vine embossing folder.

I used the Mojo Monday Sketch #477 on this card. I did leave the strip off that goes from top to bottom. I couldn't decide what to use for it, so I left it off.

For my tag I used an awesome WPlus9 Christmas Tag.  You get the tag shape, the words "Merry Christmas" and a hole reinforcer for the tag. I love the size of the tag die.. Great price point for a die set you can use year round.

The tag has stitching around it, so for my grass to have the same look, I die cut a piece of green card stock using a grass die, then put the tag over it and ran it through the machine again. It's super easy to do and really looks neat that the stitching continues all around the grass area too.

This giraffe image is sooo cute! I really like that the sentiments in the stamp set coordinate with the stamped images.   I used the Paper Play Sketches Sketch #26 for this card. I was going to add dots to the card, but then thought that some cloud shapes might be a better fill of the space.

Ahhhhh..  the elephant!!!  is it not the cutest??  My granddaughter has some pants with elephants all over them.. they are our favorite. We will be sad when she outgrows them!      Thank you cards will be in need here in the next few weeks.  These would be easy to reproduce.  I used pattern paper from the Lawn Fawn Let's Bokeh 12 x 12 paper pack. The red stripes are a neat background to the light blue elephant.

One of the sketches I used was this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #311: MFTWSC311
I also used Paper Play Sketches #26:

Mojo Monday #477: MOJO477

I wanted to share some cards that I made using two awesome dies. They are the My Favorite Things Snow Drifts Horizontal and Vertical Cover-Up Die-namics.  What fun I had using the dies to make these two cards. I also have extra papers to make three more cards.

On my first card I die cut a sheet of pattern paper and inlaid the papers into the black frame.   I stamped the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Joyous Christmas stamp set and die cut it using an My Favorite Things Fishtail Flag dies ~ hard to see since I put the snowflake above the end of it..  the top layer is layered onto a white piece of cards stock and onto a Kraft card base.     The button on the snowflakes is one that I had received in one of my orders from TupeloDesignsLLC.

I have recently stamped and colored a bunch of the My Favorite Things Pure Innocence images. This sweet girl is one of them.  I die cut a piece of vellum using the My Favorite Things Pierced Circle Stax dies and put it behind the girl.

These are the dies I used for the cards today.  Just imagine the fun you can have making quick and background for your cards. You can use the dies to die cut out shapes like I did, or use them to emboss a background ~ I'll try that soon!  My Favorite Things Snow Drifts VERTICAL and HORIZONTAL.

I used some Snowflake dies from my stash that I cut out the shapes using some glitter papers, also from my stash. I glued them together and used a button from one of my packages from TupeloDesignsLLC. I threaded some hemp cord through the button and snowflakes after I pierced some holes through the button and tied a bow.

I used two pieces of pattern paper from a 6 x 6 paper pad. I cut the pieces down to 4 1/4 wide. I cut them both at the same time and they cut out beautifully.  Saves time doing them both together.

I covered a piece of card stock that I cut just a little smaller than the die itself with Sticky tape and adhered it to the die.  I only did this for the one card, the rest I used liquid glue instead on the outer piece of the die and the inserts. I found it a little easier, but did want to share that I used this method as well.

These are the papers that are left that can be used on more cards.

This past week I spent time watching TV and coloring in these My Favorite Things images. I colored in some other stamp sets that I will be using on cards soon.

Blog Giveaway Winner is ROBIN HOFF!!   Congratulations!!  I will be emailing you.    I will do another giveaway next week.

I used some fun My Favorite Things products on the two cards I have to share today.  The images and sayings from the Chill Wishes stamp set are tooo cute!   I used the coordinating dies as well.

I used Copic Markers and colored up all the images a few days ago ~ along with a bunch of other MFT stamp sets, while watching TV.  I haven't done this in a long while and it felt so good.  I still have a couple more sheets of images to color.

The shapes were all die-cut using the Chill Wishes Die-namics and running them through my BigShot machine.

They are so cute when cut out.  The dies make it easier to cut them out, however the images are ones that would be easy for you to fussy cut without the dies as well.   **the little girl was colored up and will be used on another card.

I used this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #309.
