I want to apologize up front..  I made this card about a week and a half ago... the night before leaving on a long 4 day journey halfway across the country.  I took pictures while making the card and afterwards and emailed them to myself like I always do.  I then wrote down all the things I used on the card and had it laying on the bar beside the packet of all my son's college paper to take with me..  that paper did not end up going on the trip with me and my husband is away from home TDY so I cannot ask him to tell me the numbers of the Copic Markers. I reverted to an old post for some numbers.   I fly home on Saturday so I can edit anything if necessary..   my "soon to be college mom to my youngest child" wasn't working on all cylinders!   He was moved in and I am now in TN visiting my parents ~ last night I received a call saying the vehicle we left with him lost all power. He called the insurance which dispatched a tow truck and it was towed to a repair shop near campus. We think it's the alternator.. that seems to be going around these days.   hugs to all that have emailed me and asked about my son and me!

Lawn Fawn makes stamps that are so much fun to color  ~ no matter what color medium you are using.   I used Lawn Fawn's Pizza My Heart stamps and dies as well as the Lawn Fawn Gingham Backdrops for the bottom section on the card ~ it's pretty neat to make your own pattern paper using background stamps. I thought the pattern was perfect for a Pizza themed card.  My son LOVES pizza and so does his room mate. I'll be sending this card off to him.

I stamped all my images onto some Neenah White Card stock, then colored them in using Copic Markers.
On the pizza slices and pizzas ~ I colored the crust using E40, E43 and E44.  Going E40, then a little line of  E43 and then E44.. blending them backwards from there.  For the Pepperoni I colored them in with E08 and then a little curve of E19.  For the cheese I colored it all in E30, circled the pepperoni with E31, blended it out with E30 and then dotted around the cheese with E31.

coloring the pizza boxes I used C3, C4, C6 and C8 ~~~  I will doublecheck on that when I get home. I think I used three. I colored in the lightest, then from the sides in and the middle out I went from color to color and then worked my way out..  one one pizza box I put down too much color and it bled out a little.  I am missing pictures from the coloring of the pizza boxes and can add them when I return to WA

For the pizza crusts..  I colored E40, then E43 and added some E44 and blended back.  You could dot some of the E43 or E44 on the crusts as well. I didn't try it this time, but will next time.

The pizza cutter uses R46 and R89, along with C3, C4, and C6.

After coloring everything I lined up the die and used some post it tape to keep them in place while I ran it through my machine.  I love the way they are so easy to line up and die cut so nicely.

Thanks for stopping by ~ when I return home I will have some packages from TupeloDesignsLLC waiting for me ~ be sure to stop in next week to see what new goodies arrived!

TupeloDesignsLLC DT Project "YOU'RE A SUPER KID!" card using Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs stamp

Happy Thursday!   I have a Design Team Project for TupeloDesignsLLC for you today.

I wanted to share some tidbits about TupeloDesignsLLC that you might not know ...

Also..  recently added to the store is some amazing products from Hunkdory, Cottagecutz along with new items from Stampendous and Tim Holtz.

Now to my card ~ all products used are linked below along with the sketch I used.

OH MY GOSH!!  Have you seen the Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs??   they are so stinkin' cute!   When I first looked at the dog image I used on my card, I thought his tongue was a big "heart" ~ haha!

I hadn't planned on cutting the image out, but I had two Copic Markers that left some tiny drops of ink near the dog.... so I cut it out after trying to use the Blender to get rid of them, that didn't work so well.   I cut it out using my CutterBee scissors (LOVE them!) and then put foam tape on the back of him to raise this cutie up.

Last week I was scrolling through a stamp catalog. I decided to scribble down some of the sketches/layouts that were used on some of the cards.  The one below is one that I had scribbled on a sheet of paper. I flipped it for my card.     for the background and rectangle across the card I used one 6 x 6 piece of pattern paper. I cut the background layer 4" x 5 1/4" and took the 2" strip that was left and cut it down to 3 7/8".  Super easy sketch to make a bunch of cards with.

SUPPLIES;

card stock:  Neenah White. Black
pattern paper: from my stash
stamps:  Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs
ink:  Memento Black, Versafine Black, Copic Markers:  YR07, YR68 R20, R22, R24, B0000, Y17, E31, E33, E34, E37

TupeloDesignsLLC DT Project "SMILE" card using Lawn Fawn stamps/dies **GIVEAWAY!**

Happy Thursday!   I have a Design Team Project for TupeloDesignsLLC for you today.

I wanted to share some tidbits about TupeloDesignsLLC that you might not know ...

TupeloDesignsLLC offers an awesome "Loyalty Rewards Program". You will receive 500 points ($5.00) just for signing up, then you will continue to receive 2 pts for every $1 you spend. Be sure to check out the TupeloDesignsLLC site for more information. Also..  recently added to the store is some amazing products from Hunkdory, Cottagecutz along with new items from Stampendous and Tim Holtz.

Now to my card ~ all products used are linked below ~ Giveaway and sketch is below as well!

I had an absolute blast making this card.  I used some ever adorable Lawn Fawn Into The Woods Stamps and coordinating Dies.. gosh I love me some Lawn Fawn.  If you do too..  be sure to check out the Pre-Order that is going on for the upcoming Lawn Fawn Release.

I used a stamping tool to ink and stamp all my images twice. After stamping I colored in the Doe and the Acorn using Copic Markers (numbers below in supply list) ~ then I die-cut the images out using the coordinating dies.

The best part of making this card was after die-cutting and taking the pieces out of the dies..  such fun!!

I wanted to share how I did the green part on the circle..  NOTE: I first die-cut the circle in white, but later changed it to a light blue card stock.    After die-cutting a circle in light green, I put one of the Lawn Fawn Simply Stitched Hillside Border dies on it and die cut it again.. then adhered it on top of the blue circle.

Now for the GIVEAWAY!!  I would like to give away both the card and an extra Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Backdrops stamp set that I have. THIS IS TWO GIVEAWAYS!  The stamp set is out of the original packaging and has yellowed, but I know it will stamp just fine.. the other one I have has yellowed as well and I used it on the card I made tonight.   It hasn't been used, just extra to me and I thought I'd share it.

Here's how to get your name in the drawing.  Leave a comment with your email address spelled out (example:  i love stamping AT gmail DOT com).   I am leaving Saturday for a 4 day journey back to Missouri to get my son set up in college.  I will be out of town next Thursday when my next post that I will schedule to post will post.. I will be able to approve comments (have to do that because spammers leave garbage comments about medicines and such)..  and I will be able to pick a winner either Thursday or Friday.  It depends on how the drive goes and when I'll have a minute to draw a name.   Please bear with me.   I have been wanting to give away this stamp set and figured now is a good time since I used mine on a card.    Hugs to you all ~ hope you are a winner!!

Here is the sketch I used:

TDLLC ~ To Color or Not to Color "MAKE A WISH!" cards using Lawn Fawn stamps & dies

Happy Thursday Everyone!   I have a TupeloDesignsLLC Design Team post for you today.

There are times when I don't feel like coloring and just want to stamp my images and get on with making the card ~ then there are times when I really want to pull out all kinds of stuff to use to color with and color till my fingers hurt!  Do you ever feel that way?

So last night I decided to make some card using three different ways of "coloring" the main image ~ the fun bear from the Lawn Fawn stamp set Party Animal.

On the first card in this picture I stamped the bear and accessories onto some Neenah White card stock using Memento Black ink and colored it with some Copic Markers.

On the second card I stamped the images straight onto either card stock or pattern paper using Versafine Black ink.

On the third card I stamped the images onto some Bristol Smooth Card stock using Versafine Black ink and colored them up using some Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.

**the cards in this picture are not yet put on their card bases.

I used the same stamps and dies for each card.  The cute bear, cake and party hat are from the Lawn Fawn Party Animal set ~ I used the coordinating dies to cut each of them out.  The grassy border is one of the dies from the Meadow Borders dies set.  Puffy Cloud Border Die was used to make the cloud for the sentiment and the Pattern papers are from the Lawn Fawn Let's Polka in the Meadow and Let's Polka pattern paper pads.

Card 1. Copic Markers:

Card 2. Stamping directly onto card stock or pattern paper:

Card 3. Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens
*I had a boo boo on this card. After putting the hat on the bears head some of the glue oozed out and I touched it with my finger..  big mistake.  I will try and use my white gel pen to see if I can cover it up.

Thaks for stopping  by..  most all products linked to TDLLC ~ where shipping in the United State is "FREE" and lightning fast!   also..  discounted and free for other countries as well.
